Midlands Building Control Consultancy Ltd

"I lost my certificate, which I require as I am selling my house. After being totally stressed for 2 days, searching everywhere even the papers in the loft with no success, I contacted Midlands BC. The lovely and very professional Rebecca Hennessy, sorted and replaced my certificate very quickly, I am so grateful. Thank you so much"

"This Company is an absolute Sham. Mr David Underwood is a person that works for them and one of the main inspectors for Leicester and Midlands. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not use them if they will give you him as a contact. He is so unfair and unhelpful. He doesn't know what he is talking about. Wants to cover himself by making you spend £1000's more than you should. He has no common sense and if you ask him an obvious question, just for clarity and no commitments, he will still ignore it. I had a similar extension I did with a building inspector 2 years ago and he was so much better than this individual. Don't waste your money and time. He will back track on what he says. He also in my opinion is rude. Comes on site, rushes you and walks away after giving stupid suggestions. One site he asked us to dig up 2.2m deep for a single story extension when the original house was built on 4 courses of brick. Please do not waste your time."

"I used Midlands Building Control Consultancy Ltd and was really impressed with their service. The team were very approachable and clearly knew their stuff. They guided me through every step of the Building Control process with clear communication and honest advice. They took the time to understand my plans and offered practical solutions that made a real difference to the build. Their support made everything feel a lot less overwhelming, especially for someone like me who isn’t in the construction industry. I found their fees reasonable and the service top quality. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again or recommend them to others. Thanks again to the whole team for your support!"

A very reliable company. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to others!"

"I am an architect based in West Bridgford, Nottingham specialising in domestic work including deep energy retrofit, eco extensions and PassivHaus new-build. Midlands BC have been my preferred partner for local projects since Adrian Marshall formed the company over a decade ago. I have always found Adrian and the whole team to be responsive and approachable with most technical queries and requests for inspections dealt with in a timely and straightforward manner. I have delivered well over a dozen projects with their help including work in all the above categories. Would not hesitate to recommend."
