Shaping Spaces

"We had a fantastic experience working with Lorna from Shaping Spaces, from start to finish we could not have asked for more from an architect. From the initial site visit to understand our vision, drawing out details we hadn't considered, to the concept designs through to securing and owning the planning permission process. Lorna's professionalism, creativity and attention to detail was first class. The plans produced were thoughtful, well-considered and made the most of the space, while still respecting our ideas and being empathic with existing building. We were guided through the entire planning process with clarity, giving us confidence at every stage. What really stood out for us, was how Lorna went above and beyond at each stage to ensure we were delighted and communicated well too. We would highly recommend Lorna / Shaping Spaces for anyone looking for a knowledgeable, dedicated and experienced architect who delivers great results and makes the process far less stressful than it can be. Thank you Lorna!"

"My partner and I needed to find an architect to assist in developing plans for a general upgrade and remodelling of our 1960's bungalow. We were thrilled to find Lorna who has significant experience with both large and small projects. Once we started working closely with Lorna we found her to be knowledgeable, calm, and friendly with a very structured way of approaching our project which we found incredibly helpful. Lorna was open and honest about her timescales and what we could expect from her along the process and we always felt she exceeded our expectations. She constantly checked in with us to ensure we were happy and comfortable with what was happening and was also helpful in pointing us towards other professionals who could assist us with the process. We felt Lorna listened carefully when we explained what we hoped to achieve and worked hard to find solutions for us. I would have no hesitation in recommending Lorna to anyone needing an architect."

"Wow ..Lorna is amazing in her work. She is friendly, trustworthy and professional. She did a great job for us even when we kept changing our minds on the designs ! She was extremely patient and replied promptly to messages. She also worked with other professionals on our behalf. Would highly recommend contacting Lorna to my friends and family and will most certainly use her again in the future."

"Lorna has helped design and plan a loft conversion and a few other changes to our new house. She has been utterly brilliant to work with, supporting and guiding us through the whole process. Whatever the project we would highly reccomend her to anyone."

"We really enjoyed working with Lorna to create a fantastic single story kitchen extension. She truly understood our wants for the project, and devised three possible plans for us to select or work with. She always kept our goals for the project in mind. She was able to advise on many planning and legal matters too, which made the process very smooth. We would have no hesitation recommending her."
